Lisa Gilbertsen, MA, BCBA, LBA - Co-Owner and Senior Behavior Analyst
Lisa Gilbertsen is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Missouri. Lisa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from St. Louis University and Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from University of Nevada Reno. Lisa has been working with individuals with developmental disabilities in the field of applied behavior analysis for 20 years. During this time, Lisa has provided therapy, consultation, training and administrative supervision in a variety of settings, including school districts, homes, community settings, supported living settings, vocational settings and university programs. Lisa has coordinated applied behavior analysis programming for students with developmental disabilities in school districts and has provided services for private behavior consulting firms. In addition to this work, Lisa currently serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Missouri St. Louis where she teaches graduate coursework for students pursuing their certification as Behavior Analysts. She also previously served as the coordinator for the BCBA Licensure Program at the University of Missouri St. Louis and Vice President of the Gateway Association for Behavior Analysis. Lisa is strongly committed to improving the lives of her clients and their families by providing intensive programming and training to teach crucial skills that increase independence, decrease inappropriate behaviors and teach clients to appropriately communicate their wants and needs. Lisa is a loving and devoted wife who enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, and their four dogs, swimming, working out, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ben Gilbertsen received his degree in Marketing from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and MBA from Webster University. Ben is the husband of Lisa. Ben grew up with a sister with Autism and has seen first hand the problems that parents and family face when a family member is diagnosed on the spectrum. Lisa has known Ben's sister for 12 years and helped her make great strides in her development by guiding his single mother. Ben enjoys meeting car enthusiasts like himself, hockey, fitness, and spending quality time with Lisa and their 3 dogs Nigel, Daisy, and Gizmo.

Ashlee Baker, RBT - Director of Human Resources
Ashlee has many years experience working in the classroom setting providing applied behavior principles. She has attended many training workshops to develop her skills including those in behavior intervention plans, data collection, graphing, behavior principles, and more. During her free time she enjoys reading, running, dining out, and spending time with her husband and their 2 children.

Ashley Higdon, MA, BCBA, LBA - Director of ABA
A resident of Kirkwood, MO, Ashley is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Missouri. Ashley received her undergraduate degree from Missouri State University, and her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, in addition to a Certificate in Autism. Over the past 15 years, Ashley has worked with clients ranging from ages 2 to 18, providing ABA services in both the home and school settings. Ashley is passionate about those she works with, implementing applied behavior methodology, and the team approach needed to get results. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching yoga, and spending time with her husband and two daughters, family and friends.

Kathleen Kehoe, M. Ed.,BCBA, LBA - Director of School District Consulting
Kathleen has always had a passion for teaching children with special needs. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Special Education (K-12) from the University of Missouri, and worked for 3 years with St. Louis Special School District. After the birth of her first daughter, Kathleen chose to stay home with her three children for the next 10 years. During her time as a stay-at-home mom, she earned her Master’s of Arts in Education with certification in Early Childhood Special Education (birth-5). She returned back to teaching with Special School District 14 years ago in Early Childhood Special Education, and has taught children with a variety of disabilities; however her passion has always been children with autism or significant developmental delays. For the past 10 years, she had been teaching in a classroom for 3-5 year olds that utilized the methodologies of ABA on a daily basis.

Amy moved to the St. Louis area in 2012 from Minnesota and has a Bachelors degree in Business from the University of Minnesota. Amy has over 12 years of experience in business operations and has worked as an Office Manager in the ABA field for the past three years. Amy has a little boy, Brayden, who keeps her busy in her spare time. She also enjoys spending time with family, friends and her 2 dogs.

She completed her Master's degree in Behavior Analysis at Lindenwood University and is a board certified behavior analyst licensed in Missouri. She worked in an early childhood center for 3 years, and before that worked as a teacher assistant in multiple grades. In her spare time, she likes to be with her younger brothers and take her dog to the park.

Richelle Craig - Administrative Professional
Richelle has years of experience in the field of ABA, both professionally and as the parent of an autistic child receiving services. A St. Louis native, she has lived all over the U.S. and enjoys spending time with her three daughters, traveling, Latin dancing, hiking, and reading.

Jane Minkel is our Patient Care Coordinator and comes to us with many years of administrative and customer service experience. She is originally from Wisconsin and moved to O’Fallon in 2014 when her grandson, Brayden was born. Jane and her husband had an Adult Family Care Home for several years, and she has experience living with and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Her greatest joy in life is her family—especially her children and 5 grandchildren, who she loves spending time with. She also has a passion for her friends, design and decorating, music, garage sales, stamping and card making, organizing, and anything else creative.

Staci Archibald, MA, PLBA - Provisionally Licensed Behavior Analyst
Staci moved to Missouri from North Carolina in 2017 and has four children in the St Louis area. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Staci worked in Wentzville School District’s Early Childhood Center for three years before coming to ABS. In her free time, Staci enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors when possible.

Maddy is originally from Runnells, Iowa. She graduated from the University of Central Missouri in May of 2022, with a degree in Child and Family Development. She moved to St. Peters in 2022 and really enjoys the area. She has worked with children for about 7 years now, and she loves what she does! She is continuing her education at UCM in their Applied Behavior Analysis program and is very excited about the program. She loves spending time with her boyfriend and exploring nature.

Bobby has a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science from The University of Missouri. While attending Mizzou, he worked with children with special needs through Adaptive Gymnastics. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, and attending sporting events. Bobby is currently attending University of Missouri St. Louis where he is getting his master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Scott graduated from Vatterott College with his Associate's in Electrical Mechanics. He also went to St. Charles Community College to get his Personal Training Certification. After breaking his femur in half and having to relearn to walk, he wanted to give someone the gift he received- its always been about giving back. Scott is a dad of 5. During the Pandemic, he was given a rare opportunity to be a teacher to his children. He put all his learning and dad skills into shaping his children for the future. He was, "Teacher Daddy" for a 4th grader, 2nd grader, and kindergartener. Scott then became an RX Inventory Specialist while also becoming an immunization administrator. This allowed Scott another way to give back. He faced many uphill battles through his divorce but he survived and thrived. He met his soulmate through Eharmony and he was given a healthy relationship for the 1st time ever. He got the courage to finally look for something he had a real passion for-- working with kids for their betterment. He plans on continuing his education to become a stronger father and all around man. This is a dream come true for him. He cares about others and it will show. Steven is now the founder and Executive Director of a new nonprofit that uses equine-assisted activities and therapies to help veterans and at-risk youth in the St. Louis area. She received her Associates Degree in Graphic design from Stephens College and 2 years later took the AMI Primary Montessori Teacher training course and became certified at the AMI St. Louis training center. After 30 plus years teaching in the Montessori environment she decided to expand her career, continuing her passion to serve children at all developmental levels. Recently she had the pleasure of serving as a Paraprofessional in a middle school, supporting several sixth graders on the spectrum, in their classes throughout the day. Sometimes helping when needed in the essential and applied classrooms also. Some ways she enjoys spending her time are reading, DIY and craft projects, studying wildlife, hiking, fishing, laughing, and quality time with family and friends. She has four children, the oldest diagnosed ADHD back in the 90's, sparking her to continue her knowledge of people on the spectrum. Her faith, family, and passion for working with people are what drives her purpose in life. While his educational background is in Secondary Education, he spent 20 years in Law Enforcement, where he worked in multiple capacities, to include Patrol, Narcotics, Under-cover, Homicide/Violent Crime and SWAT Sergeant. During this time, he was the recipient of a Medal of Valor and Detective of the Year. Simultaneously, he has been coaching Youth Competitive Basketball for the past 25 years. He has also coached basketball with the Special Olympics Organization.

After 8 years, she realized she wanted to make a difference and work with kids, and that’s when her journey took her to an autism clinic in St. Louis, where she became an RBT. In her free time, she loves spending time with her four children and two grandsons. She loves visiting area parks, bowling, playing darts, and trying new restaurants.

William lives in Wentzville, Missouri and has worked with children since 2017. When he was hired at Fort Zumwalt as a custodian, he wanted to do more than clean the classrooms. So every day, he would go in an hour-and-a-half early to work with students who struggled with behavior issues, school work, bullying or being bullied, or who just needed someone to talk to for guidance. He was awarded Forest Park Elementary employee of the year and also Employee of the Year for the entire district in 2017, for going above and beyond, helping students succeed. In his free time, he enjoys going to local dirt tracks and watching racing, sim racing, and St. Louis Blues Hockey, as well as spending time with friends and family.

Through this experience, he realized he wants to continue to pursue a career working with children of all abilities. He plans on pursuing a degree to become a Behavioral Therapist. In his spare time, Christian enjoys training Boxing classes with his clients with special needs at Boxing Therapy in Saint Charles. Christina grew up in Iowa and moved to Missouri in 2013. She is a mom to 3 beautiful kids and a very loving dog.
She enjoys being outside, exploring, and gardening. Christina has worked and volunteered for all different kinds of programs to help
individuals since she was 14. She is working toward her goal of becoming an Equine Therapist, her favorite color is orange, and she loves the smell of lilacs.

Jason Oglesby - Behavior Line Therapist
Jason grew up in the southernmost tip of Illinois in a small community called Anna-Jonesboro. He started working with adults with developmental disabilities at the age of 16. He attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he majored in Rehabilitation Services. Jason has worked as an in-home behavior therapist in the Chicago suburbs since 2016. He and his spouse moved to this area during the pandemic to be closer to their families. They're huge City SC fans! Jason has a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Foxy, a French Bulldog named Taffy, a Chi`weenie named Milly, and a miniature Australian Shepard named Dally. He hopes to continue his education and enter into a Behavior Analysis and Therapy graduate program after getting some more experience in this field, here at ABS.

Mattie was born in Texas, but moved all over the country since the age of two, until moving to Missouri in 2019. She graduated in the state of California and is excited to further her career and education through ABS. In her free time she likes to go to thrift stores, walk her dogs and paint.

Lily lives in St. Peters with her parents, little sister, dog, and cat. She graduated from Francis Howell Central Highschool in 2022 and has been studying human services at St. Charles Community College since then. She enjoys cooking, trying new foods, and making creative dishes for her family, as well as going to church on Sundays and participating in service projects. She also loves spending time with her baby cousins, taking them out to eat or shopping for new outfits.

She graduated high school and has an associates degree in medical assisting. She worked in the field of education for seven years. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and the St Louis Cardinals! I would love to grow with ABS, as she has a love for special needs children and adults. She enjoys going out to eat on date nights, going to ball games, and road trips.

She has also worked as a Behavior Therapist for 1 year and aspires to earn her RBT and BCBA credentials in the future.
